WJAR TV: WJAR TV Providence has quite a history. They started out on channel 11 in 1949 as Rhode Island's first TV station, only the 4th in New England. The station was moved to channel 10 in 1952 because of interference to channel 11 New York City. Studios are located at 23 Kenney Drive as seen in the photos from 2019. WJAR TV subchannels are 10.1 NBC, 10.2 MeTV, 10.3 Comet, and 10.4 TBD. Samples of screen grabs are from 2019.
