KFIZ: KFIZ Fond du Lac started out in 1922 on 1100, then moved to 1120 in 1927. In 1928 they moved to 1420 and in 1941 to their current 1450 frequency. The KFIZ call letters were assigned by the government. Normally K calls are not assigned east of the Mississippi River. Studios are located at 254 Winnebago Drive as seen in the photos from 2021. This is also the location for WFON FM 107.1 Fond du Lac and WCLB 950 Sheboygan's FM translator Z107.3 (W297CK). The KFIZ transmitter and tower are located on West Scott Street as seen in the photos from 2021. This tower also holds the antenna for W264DN, a Construction Permit for a new FM on 100.7.

WACY TV: Channel 32 Appleton started out in 1983 as a CP with the call letters WBOU. They came on the air in 1984 as WXGZ TV and in 1995 the calls were changed to WACY TV. The station is a MyNetworkTV affiliate. Studios are at 1391 North Road in Ashwaubenon along with WGBA-TV (see WGBA TV below) as seen in the photos from 2021. The screen grab ID is from 2021.

WCLB: 950 Radio Sheboygan started out in the mid-1950s as WSHE, calls were changed to WKTS a few years later. In 1993 the call letters were changed to WCNZ and then in 2000 to WCLB. The photo of the 950 towers was taken from Birch Road in 2022.

WDJT TV: WDJT TV Channel 58 Milwaukee came on the air in 1988. They are a CBS affiliate. The screen grabs are from 2022.

WDUZ: WDUZ 1400 Green Bay started out in 1947. The call letters were changed to WNGB in 2003, but returned to WDUZ in 2004. Studios, transmitter, and tower are all located at 810 Victoria Street as seein the the photos from 2021. This building is also the location for Cumulus Media stations WDUZ-FM 107.5, WKRU FM 106.7 Allouez, WOGB FM 103.1, and WQLH 98.5 FM Star 98. The tower also holds W238DA FM 95.5 translator.

WEAU TV: WEAU-TV Channel 13 Eau Claire came on the air in 1953. John's very first exposure to TV was in 1953 watching WEAU-TV while visiting his aunt and uncle as a young child. Their cafe, "The Roost," was located in front of the TV station which was located at 1907 South Hastings Way. Their tower was replaced in 1956 with a 1,000 foot tower. While WEAU-TV Channel 13 operates from a 2,000 foot tower in Fairchild, the 1,000 foot tower is used for WQOW-TV Channel 18. The 1000 foot tower can be seen for many miles around. A very impressive landmark. The two photos of the WEAU TV studios are from 1990. The last photo is the very first tower photo taken by John. WEAU's towers behind The Roost as seen in 1957. The print news print ad features John Enger and Aldy Swanson. The Romper Room print ad is from 1965.

WFDL: 1170 Waupun started out in 1966 as WLKE. Calls were changed to WGZS in 1982 and back to WLKE in 1984. In 1987 the calls were changed to WKLD, then to WMRH in 1990. In 2002 the calls were changed to WFDL. The transmitter and tower are located on East Spring Street near Home Avenue as seen in the photo from 2021.

WGBA TV: Channel 26 Green Bay came on the air in 1980 as WLRE TV. Call letters were changed to WGBA TV in 1985. Studios are at 1391 North Road in Ashwaubenon along with WACY TV (see WACY TV above) as seen in the photos from 2021.

WGBW: 1590 Radio Denmark started out in 1951 as WTRW. In 198 the call letters were changed to WQTC and then in 1977 they were changed to WRTR. In 1993 the calls were returned to the original WTRW, but in 2006 they were changed to WGBW. Studios are located on North Packer Drive as seen in the photos from 2022. The 4 towers and transmitter for WGBW are located not too far away at the corner of Pleasant Road and Zander Road as seen in the photo from 2022.

WGBW: 1510 Radio Milwaukee started out in 1947 as WAUX. The call letters were changed to WAUK in 1965 and then to WRRD in 2008. In 2020 the calls were changed to WGKB reflecting the owners name Good Karma Brands. Their transmitter and tower are located on Coral Drive in Whitehall as seen in the photo from 2022.

WGXI: 1420 Radio Plymouth came on the air in 1954 as WPLY. In 1991 the call letters were changed to WJUB and then in 2018 to WGXI "Cow Country". Studios, transmitter, and tower are all located at N5569 Wisconsin state road 57 as seen in the photos from 2022. W253CW 98.5 FM is a translator for WGXI. Also located at this site is The Family WSTM 91.3 licensed to Kiel.

WHA TV: WHA TV Channel 21 Madison came on the air in 1954 as the first educational TV station in Wisconsin, and the seventh in the USA. The screen grabs are from 2021 and show examples of programming, 21.1 is PBS, 21.2 is the Wisconsin channel, 21.3 is Create, and 21.4 PBS Kids.

WHBL: WHBL Radio 1330 Sheboygan started in 1928. Studios, transmitter, and 3 towers are located on Washington Avenue as seen in the photos from 2022. WHBL has a translator station W268BR 101.5 FM. The building is also studios for WHBZ FM 106.5 The Blitz, WBFM FM B93.7, and WXER FM 104.5 Plymouth The Point along with WXER translator on 96.1, W241AG.

WHIT: 1550 Madison came on the air in 1964 as WMAD. Calls were changed to WWQM in 1977, then to WHIT in 1982 only to be changed to WTUX in 2001. In 2009 the WHIT call letters were again back on 1550. Studios are located at 730 Rayovac Drive as seen in the photos from 2021. This location is also headquarters for all the other Mid-West Family Broadcasting station. The 1550 transmitter site is on Haight Road as seen in the photos from 2021. This is a 4 tower site, I was unable to get far enough away to show all 4 towers, photos are for the 2 left and 2 right towers which also shows the transmitter building.

WIBA: WIBA Radio 1310 Madison came on the air in 1925 as Wisconsin's first commercial radio station (University of Wisconsin's WHA is the oldest.) Studios are located at 2651 South Fish Hatchery Road near Lacy Road as seen in the photos from 2021. Their transmitter and towers are also located at this site. This iHeart Media building is also home for WIBA-FM 101.5, WMAD-FM 96.3, WXXM FM 92.1, WZEE FM 104.1, and WTSO 1070 (See WTSO below).

WJOI: 1340 Radio Milwaukee started out in 1935 as WEMP. The call letters were changed to WRIT in 1955 and then in 1978 to WBCS. In 1980 the calls were changed to WMKE but were returned to WBCS in 1984. Then in 1987 the calls were changed to WLZR and then in 1997 to WJYI. In 2021 the call letters became WJOI. Studios, transmitter, and tower are located on West Martin Drive as seen in the photos from 2022. The other Milwaukee Radio Group stations are located here too.

WJOK: 1050 Kaukauna came on the air in 1965 as WKAU. The calls were changed to WQWM in 1984 and in 1993 to WSOC. The call change to WJOK was made in 1999. Formats went from top 40 as WKAU to Relevant Radio as WJOK, "Jesus Our King" currently. Their transmitter and 3 towers are located along Block Road as seen in the photo from 2021.

WJTI: 1460 Radio West Allis serves the Milwaukee area. The station started in 1950 as WRAC. In 1975 the call letters were changed to WRKR and then in 1979 to WWEG. In 1983 the WRKR calls were once again used until 1987 when they changed to WBZN. In 1991 the call letters became WKKV and in 1993 WBJX. In 2007 the call letters were changed to WJTI. The photo of their towers taken through the trees is from 2022.

WMAM: WMAM Radio 570 Marinette came on the air in 1939. Studios are located at 844 Pierce Avenue as seen in the photos from 2021. This Bay Cities MultiMedia Center also has studios for WLST FM 95.1 "Cat Country' along with WSFQ FM 96.3 "The Rock" and WHYB FM 103.7 "Classical Hits." WMVS TV: WMVS TV Channel 10 Milwaukee came on the air in 1957. The PBS studios are located downtown on North 8th Street as seen in the photos from 2022. The WMVS TV antenna shares the tower with WVTV. The photo from 2022 shows 3 towers, the one on the left is WMVS TV and WVTV (See WVTV below). WSCO: 1570 Radio Appleton came on the air in 1952 as WAPL. Calls were changed to WVMS in 1978 and to WRJQ in 1985. In 2002 the calls were changed to WSCO. WSSP: 1250 Radio Milukee started in 1948 as WMAW. In 1952 the calls changed to WCAN and then to WEMP in 1955. In 2004 the call letters were changed to WSSP. Studios, transmitter, and 5 towers are located at 11800 West Grange Avenue in Hales Corners as seen in the photos from 2022. Two other Audacy stations, WMYX FM 99.1 Milwaukee and WXSS FM 103.7 Wauwatosa, are located in this building.

WTAQ: This facility started out as WTAQ 1180 in Osseo. In 1936 the station moved to Green Bay on 1330, and in 1941 moved to 1360. Call letters were changed to WBAY in 1949, then to WCEE in 1975. In 2003 the call letters returned to WTAQ. Studios are located at 1420 Bellevue Street along with WNFL (see WNFL above). The 1360 four tower transmitter site is located on Lost Dauphin Road as seen in the photos from 2021.

WTSO: 1070 Radio Madison came on the air in 1948 as WKOW. The call letters were changed to WTSO in 1971. Studios are located at 2651 South Fish Hatchery Road near Lacy Road (See WIBA above). WVCY: 690 Radio Oshkosh came on the air in 1969 as WAGO. Calls were changed to WCKK in 1983, then to WLKE in 1987. In 1992 the calls were changed to WXOL and then in 1995 to WVCY. Their three tower transmitter site is located on Green Valley Road (Near I-41) as seen in the photo from 2021.

WXIX TV: Channel 18 Milwaukee came on the air in 1953 as WOKY-TV. The call letters were changed to WXIX TV in 1955 as noted in the old print ads below. In 1963 the call letters were changed to WUHF TV and then in 1966 to WVTV. They are the second oldest continuously operating television station in Milwaukee. FYI the WXIX-TV call letters are now on channel 19 in Newport, Kentucky serving the Cincinnati, Ohio market.

WXXM: WXXM FM 92.1 Sun Prairie came on the air in 1972 as WYXE, calls were changed to WMAD in 1979 and then in 2003 to WXXM. Studios are located along with other iHeart Media stations (see WIBA above) in Fitchburg. Their tower is located near Brooks Drive in Sun Prairie as seen in the photo from 2021. This tower is also the location for translator stations W284CW and W224EG.

WZCK LD: Channel 8 Madison came on the air in 1987 as W08CK as a low-powered analog TV station. In 2016 it was converted into an LPTV station with the call letters WZCK-LD as noted in the screen grab ID from 2021.

WZTI: 1290 Radio Greenfield, serving Milwaukee, started out in 1947 as WMLO. The call letters were changed to WMIL in 1949 and then WZUU in 1972. In 1982 the calls changed to WLLZ and in 1985 to WMVP. In 1993 the calls changed to WMCS and then in 2013 to WZTI. The photo of their 4 tower transmitter site on West Rawson Avenue is from 2022.
