XERB: XERB Radio 1090 licensed to Playas de Rosarito covering Tijuana in Baja California started out in 1939 on 730, the move to 1090 was in 1944. Call letters were changed to XEPRS. The photo of the XERB studios is from the Bill Block collection taken in the early 1970s.

XHBC TV: John received XHBC-TV Channel 3 Mexicali on skip reception a few times over the years. This on air ID is from a 958 mile DX reception in 1971 from Sheridan, Wyoming. XHBC-TV came on the air in 1959. The call letters refer to Baja California.
