KARE TV: Channel 11 Minneapolis came on the air in 1953 as WTCN-TV. In 1985 calls were changed to WUSA and then to KARE in 1986. The WTCN TV print ads show old call letters and logo. The on air screen grabs are from 2010.

KCMT TV: Channel 7 in Alexandria, Minnesota, was a historic local television station that operated for 59 years, serving as a primary news source for central Minnesota. Launched in 1958 and later becoming a CBS affiliate, it eventually became KCCO-TV before ending local broadcasting in 2017 and selling its frequency. This KCMT TV Channel 7 and KNMT TV Channel 12 Walker print ad from 1968 is for the Welcome Inn program.

KMSP TV: Channel 9 Minneapolis came on the air in 1955 as KEYD TV. In 1956 the call letters were changed to KMGM TV and then in 1958 to KMSP TV. The print ads are from 1962.

KROC: KROC Radio 1340 Rochester came on the air in 1935. The print ad is from May 19, 1943.

KSTP: KSTP TV Channel 5 came on the air in 1948. Studios are located at 3415 University Avenue at the boundry of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. This is also the home for KSTP AM 1500 which has been on the air since 1939 and KSTP FM 94.5. Part of the large self supporing tower behind the station can be seen in this photo from 1987. The on air screen grabs are from 2010.

WCCO: WCCO Radio 830 Minneapolis came on the air in 1922 as WLAG. WCCO call letters stand for Washburn Crosby COmpany which later became General Mills. WCCO studios in 1987 were located in downtown Minneapolis at 625 Second Avenue South. This building has since been remodeled and the wonderful WCCO call letters on top of the building are now gone.
