KARD TV: Channel 3 Wichita had been KARD TV prior to changing to KSNW TV (see below). This screen shot of a 700 mile skip
reception in Sheridan, Wyoming is from 1971.

KAYS TV: KAYS TV Channel 7 Hays came on the air in 1958. In 1989 they switched call letters to KBSH as part of the
Kansas Broadcasting System headquartered in Wichita. The station is located at 2300 Hall Street to this day, but not much is left of
the original operation. While no longer owned by the same group, KAYS radio is still in this building.

KBSL TV: Channel 10 Goodland started in 1959 as KLOE TV. Now they are KBSL TV and part of the Kansas Broadcasting System
headquartered in Wichita. "Broadcast Plaza" is located at 3023 W 31st Street which houses KBSL TV Channel 10 along with KLOE 730, KKCI FM 102.5,
and KWGB FM 97.9 radio stations.

KFH: The KFH call letters were on 1330 in Wichita from 1922 until 2004. 1240 had been KAKE, then KAKZ, followed by KRZZ and KNSS before taking on the historic KFH call letters. KFH was at one time owned by the Lassen Hotel and the letters stood for Kansas' Finest Hotel. The 1240 tower is located east of I-135 along North Hydroulic Avenue as seen in the photo from 2016.

KFTI: 1070 in Wichita started out as KFDI, changed to KFTI, then KLIO, and then back to KTFI. Their 3 tower array and studios are located on North Old Lawrence Road just north of I-235. In addition to KTFI 1070, stations KFDI FM 101.3, KFJX FM 104.5 "The Fox" (Augusta, Kansas), KICT FM 95.1 "T-95," and KYQQ FM 106.5 "Radio Lobo" are located in the building shown. KGSO: 1410 Radio Wichita has seen numerous call letter changes from KWBB to KEYN, then KQAM, KMYR, and now KGSO. The station currently offers a sports format. Studios are located at 1632 South Maize Road. KQAM 1480 (see below) is also located here. The photo of their 5 towers was taken from

KLWN: KLWN Radio 1320 Lawrence came on the air in 1951. The call letters stand for K LaWreNce. The station offers a sports format and is the flagship of the Jayhawks. Their tower and transmitter building are seen in the photos from 2016 as seen from Crossgate Terrace.

KMAJ: Radio 1440 Topeka started out in 1947 as KJAY, in the mid to late '60s they were known as 'kiwi' with the calls KEWI, then KSKX, briefly back to KEWI before changing to the current KMAJ call letters. Their tower is located south of I-70 and north of SE 29th Street as seen in the photo from 2016.

KMTW TV: KMTW TV Channel 36 is licensed to Hutchinson, Kansas and serves the Wichita market. They are a MyNetworkTV affiliate with studios along with KSAS-TV (see below). The screen grabs are from 2016.

KNNN: Radio 550 Salina was KNNN when this photo was taken in 1986. They changed to KICT a few months later, then in
1987 to KFRM. Studios have since moved to Clay Center.

KNSS: Radio 1330 Wichita started out in 1922 as KFH (see above). In 2004 the calls were changed to KNSS and KFH calls were moved to 1240. KDGS FM 93.5 shares tower space on the taller tower. The shorter tower was added when 1330 started a higher power directional night pattern. The towers are located on North Rock Road as seen in the photos from 2016.

KOAM TV: KOAM TV Channel 7 Pittsburg came on the air in 1953. Here's an early ID.

KOFO: KOFO Radio 1220 Ottawa came on the air in 1949. The station airs a country music format. Their studios, transmitter, and tower are located at the end of Radio Road just east of South Princeton Street as seen in the photos from 2016.

KPHN: 1360 Radio in El Dorado came on the air in 1962 as KOYY. Calls were changed to KSPG, then KSRX, and from 2002 until 2014 as KAHS before changing to KPHN. The station serves the Wichita market with EWTN religious programming. Their building and three towers are located along SE River Road as seen in the photos from 2016. Note the ASR registration numbering sign still has the old KAHS call letters.

KPTS TV: KPTS TV Channel 8 Wichita came on the air in 1970. They are the PBS station for Wichita. The first photo of the station located at 320 West 21st Street North is from 1986. Not much has changed in 30 years as seen in the photos from 2016. The screen grab is from 2016.

KQAM: 1480 Radio Wichita has seen a few call letter changes from KLEO to KZSN, then KWKN, and currently KQAM. Studios are located at 1632 South Maize Road along with KGSO (see above). A KQAM vehicle was spotted at the studio location. Their 5 tower array is located on East 29th Street North
near Chisholm Creek Park. All photos are from 2016.

KRZZ: FM 96.3 licensed to Derby, Kansas has seen numerous call letter changes from KYMG to KAKZ to KRZZ as seen in the photo of their studios in 1986. Then that was changed to KTHR and today KZCH. The KRZZ calls are currently on an FM station in San Francisco.

KSGL: 900 Radio Wichita had been KEYN with a top 40 music format, now as KSGL they have a religious and adult standards format. Their tower is located on West Saint Louis Street as seen in the photo from 2016.

KSNT TV: Channel 27 Topeka started out in 1967 as KTSB-TV, in 1982 the call letters were changed to KSNT TV as part of the KSN network. Studios and transmitter are located on Northwest 25th Street as seen in the photos from 2016. KTKA-DT and KTMJ-CD are also located here. The screen grabs are from 2016.

KVOE: 1400 Radio Emporia started out at KTSW in 1939. The call letters were changed to KVOE, "The Voice of Emporia" in 1952. Studios are
located on C of E Drive. The transmitter and tower are located along Sodens Road. The photos are from 2016.

KWCH TV: Channel 12 Wichita started out in 1953 as KTVH. In 1954 they changed to KWCH standing for WiCHita. Studios are
