KBMY TV: KBMY TV Channel 17 Bismarck came on the air in 1985 about 4 years before this photo was taken. Their studios were at the top of a bank building at 3130 East Broadway Avenue in 1989. Historians may know the KBMY call letters were associated with the Billings, Montana AM station on 1240, K-Billings-Montana-Yellowstone (country).

KFYR: KFYR Radio 550 Bismarck came on the air in 1925. "Kay-Fire" coverage extends to five states and two Canadian provinces giving them an extensive coverage area. In 1989 studios were located downtown at the corner of 4th and Broadway Avenue. They have since moved to 3500 East Rosser Avenue joining KBMR 1130 and other stations at that location.

KFYR TV: KFYR TV Channel 5 Bismarck came on the air in 1953 as the third TV station in North Dakota, the first TV station for Bismarck. KCJB TV Channel 13 Minot was the first, WDAY TV Channel 6 Fargo the second, all three coming on the air in 1953. In 1989 studios were downtown at 200 North 4th.

KXMB TV: Channel 12 Bismarck came on the air in 1955 as KBMB TV. Calls were changed to KXMB TV in 1960. Studios, transmitter, and tower are located at 1811 North 25th Street. The station is part of the "KX" network along with KXMC TV Minot, KXMD TV Williston, and KXMA TV Dickinson. The stations are CBS TV network affiliates.
